Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the TradeSynq platform, mobile app, and website (the "Service"), provided by Trade Synq Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Trade Synq Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17197243, registered address 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: support@tradesynq.co.uk.

2. The Service

TradeSynq provides software for tradespeople and small trade businesses to manage scheduling, quoting, invoicing, jobs, clients, team management, routing, payments, and related tasks. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date; keep your login credentials secure and are responsible for all activity under your account; be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes; and are responsible for your team members' use under your account.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and payment

The Service is offered on Free, Pro, and Growth plans; features and limits are described in the Service. We offer a free trial of up to 3 months; at the end of the trial you must choose a paid plan to continue using paid features. Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe. Prices are as shown in the Service. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged; if we become VAT-registered in the future, we will update our pricing and these Terms accordingly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and access continues until then. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices and will give reasonable notice before a change affects you.

5. Payments to you (Stripe Connect)

If you use the Service to take payments from your customers, those payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You must comply with Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and provide accurate business and identity information for verification. We are not a party to transactions between you and your customers and are not responsible for disputes, refunds, or chargebacks between you and them.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, you must not use the Service unlawfully, enter data you have no right to use, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the Service, reverse-engineer or resell it except as permitted, or send unlawful or unsolicited messages. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Your data and your customers' data

You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. Where you store information about your own customers, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and complying with data protection law; our respective roles are described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own records and backups of important data.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and may carry out maintenance and updates. Support is provided via the in-app Support section and at support@tradesynq.co.uk.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Trade Synq Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without permission.

10. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services (including Stripe, Twilio, Google Maps, and Mapbox). Your use of those may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that: the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we exclude all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data beyond our obligation to take reasonable measures to protect it; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period. Because you use the Service to run your business, you are responsible for verifying the schedules, quotes, invoices, calculations, and other outputs it produces before relying on them.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or where required by law. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we will make your data available for export for 30 days, after which it may be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date; where changes are material we will give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
