1. Purpose
This policy exists to keep the Service safe, lawful, and reliable for everyone who uses it. It explains what you may not do when using TradeSynq.

You must not use the Service: in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation (including UK data protection, consumer, and tax law); for any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purpose; or to do anything that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
3. Prohibited content and data
You must not use the Service to store, send, or process content that: is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory; infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; contains personal data you do not have a lawful basis to hold or use (including your customers' data — you are responsible for having the right to enter and use it); contains sensitive personal data unless you have the appropriate lawful basis; contains viruses, malware, or harmful code; or is obscene, sexual content involving minors, or otherwise seriously objectionable.
4. Prohibited activities
You must not: attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or connected systems; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach or circumvent security or authentication measures; access or use the Service to build a competing product or copy its features or design; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law; use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data without our written permission; circumvent, disable, or interfere with usage limits, billing, or plan restrictions; resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted; impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; or share your account credentials with unauthorised people or allow unauthorised access to your account.
5. Messaging and communications
Where the Service lets you send messages to your customers (for example, SMS reminders), you must: only message people who expect to hear from you and who you have a lawful basis to contact; comply with all applicable marketing, privacy, and electronic communications laws (including PECR and UK GDPR); not send spam, unsolicited marketing, or unlawful content; and honour opt-out and unsubscribe requests. You are responsible for the messages you send through the Service.

7. Fair use
The Service is provided for normal business use. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the Service and other users. You must not use the Service in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our systems, or that is designed to avoid usage limits.
8. Your responsibility for your team
If you add team members to your account, you are responsible for their use of the Service and for ensuring they comply with this policy.
9. Reporting misuse
If you become aware of any breach of this policy, or any misuse of the Service, please contact us at support@tradesynq.co.uk.
10. Consequences of breach
If you breach this policy, we may: issue a warning; suspend or restrict your access; remove or disable offending content; terminate your account; or take legal action or report the matter to the authorities where appropriate. We will act reasonably and proportionately, taking into account the seriousness of the breach. Where we can, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put things right, but we may act immediately where the breach is serious or where required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
